We only use water-based, non-toxic sealers that will never crack, peel, turn white, or become hazy. Whether you have brick pavers or natural stone, make sure your investments are maintained! If neglected, your surfaces could become discolored, infested with weeds, and overcome with mold.
In the process of paver restoration, old solvent-based sealants are removed and replaced with water-based ones. Because it is a topical sealer that has essentially trapped moisture, the solvent-based sealer failed. The penetrating, water-based sealant gives the pavers room to breathe.
Sanding is a supplemental service we provide. If sanding is required, it must be planned ahead of your appointment so we will have the supplies on hand. We use "wet sanding" to add sand to paver gaps and force it down into the crevice. The effectiveness of the sealer can harden the sand and minimize sand washout.
